It was on a Saturday evening, just before I was about to have dinner with my family when my phone rang. A woman was calling to ask me if I can attend her site in Northampton and have a look at her walk-in fridge. I said “Sure, that’s what I do. Text me your site name and address, I’ll be there in about an hour.”

I think it was a Zanotti monoblock cooling a cold room. I quickly identified the problem. It was a condenser fan motor that was faulty and lost its fan blade. Thankfully I carry both motors and fan blades, I fitted a new motor. The temperature started going down immeadelitely. The customer was happy because the meat she kept in the chiller was saved from going off due to the high temperature.
